Croí Pilates By Lisa...
Lisa Nolan (Owner + Founder) – EQF L4 Advanced Diploma in Pilates Instruction | BSc (Hons) Athletic Therapist & Trainer | Prenatal + Postnatal Pilates Certified | Pilates Barre Certified | Regsitered by Professional Register of Exercise Professionals of Ireland.
Lisa’s journey in health and movement began early, shaped by her Irish-language education and a deep connection to the meaning behind Croí — the Irish word for heart. She graduated from Dublin City University with a first-class honours degree in Athletic Training and Therapy, followed by a first-class Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations and Events.
After 15 successful years working in the Irish media industry as a model, presenter, and later a specialist in PR, marketing, advertising and events, Lisa felt called back to her original passion: movement and the human body. She completed the EQF Level 4 qualification in Pilates Instruction — the highest Pilates teaching standard in Ireland and across the EU and opened Croí Pilates.
Lisa’s teaching philosophy centres on creating strong, sculpted and balanced bodies and minds. Her background as an Athletic Therapist allows her to expertly prevent, assess, treat and rehabilitate both acute injuries and long-standing issues.
She also specialises in supporting women through prenatal and postnatal stages. As a mum of two little girls (aged 2 and 4, with another on the way), she brings a deeply personal understanding of the physical and emotional needs of motherhood.
Having discovered Pilates during her college years, Lisa has leaned on its benefits through every season of her life — from modelling to motherhood and everything in between. Her insight into injury management, pain relief, pre/postnatal care and everyday wellness allows her to support clients with a wide range of goals and challenges.
At the heart of her work is a simple belief: Pilates has the power to release stress, repair the body and restore balance — helping every person feel strong, capable and connected.‘
